Why don't they occupy congress until the top 1% are taxed?
And I don't understand occupying subways. That is just causing problems for other 99%'ers.

1. Every Congressman and Senator has an office in their home district/state.
They are usually in well-trafficked areas, too. I think that's not a bad place to make a fuss.

I didn't get the subway thing, either. Not a "Win Friends/Influence People" move. Those poor rich people, they'll be forced off the subways (that they never use) and have to take TAXIS or call for their limo cars! Oh, the horror!

They were trying to get the people to join them. They weren't trying to shut them down.

I hope facts still mean something in DU.
