polls: Is the U.S. Congress less popular than Communism?
Well a look at some recent polls might suggest just that.

Rasmussen notes that 11% of Americans actually support Communism while the RCP average of recent polls show that 12.3% of Americans support the current U.S. Congress which is a statistical dead heat. The RCP average of recent pulls show a 81.7% disapproval of the U.S. Congress. But when it comes to disapproval of Communism according to Rasmussen 77% say Communism is a failed system and the U.S. System is superior. 13% to 15% are not sure. So a total of 24% to 26% of Americans, roughly one fourth now either believe Communism is a better system or they are not sure.

From Rasmussen:

11% Say Communism Better Than U.S. System of Politics and Economics

77% U. S. system is morally superior
11% Communism is morally superior
13% Not Sure

Is communism a failed ideology?

77% Failed ideology
12% not failed ideology
15% not sure

4. While I'm LMAO, it's not nice to pick on Terry Schiavo
Herman Cain would have been a better choice.

2. Most people hardly know what communism is, I'm not sure how seriously to take this poll.

I'm cautiously optimistic though. ;) I wonder what the results would look like if the questions asked things like "Do you support elimination of monopoly and exploitation?", "Do you support a cradle to grave social safety net, with no private ownership of the commons or the commanding heights of the economy?" "Do you support Congress or a society where rich people don't decide your fate?".
