So even CNBC is running a documentary on the deteriorating
of our countries infrastructure.

When is the GOP going to wake up, how many people need to die in order to open up their eyes...

Investing in Infrastructure is an investment in the future economic status of this country.

They are traitors, plain and simple.

7. Exactly.
We have this going on here in Indiana. Just google "Major Moves Indiana," and that should bring up what I'm talking about. Nausea prevents me from doing it myself.

6. The History Channel has an excellent documentary on this.
It's about three years old, I think. They have aired it many times, as if they think of it as a PSA. Everybody ought to see it. Everybody. Especially those who oppose it just because they think of the issue only in terms of Obama's jobs bill, not as a serious national problem.

12. We're basically $2.1 trillion in the hole on our infrastructure.
And that was as of when the History Channel first aired their program about this. That's what it would take to get things up to an acceptable level. The cost only goes up every year, of course, course, as our infrastructure deteriorates further. The money wasted on these stupid wars would have done the trick.

Interestingly, one person interviewed for that program pointed out that one symptom of a decaying society is that it allows this to happen; the Romans did it too.

15. Simply Print the money and pay it to the workers....

it's as simple as that, and would be an INCREDIBLE boom to the economy as a side effect. Inflation is certainly not a risk at the moment.

The problem when the government prints money these days, it usually goes into some 1% bank account and rarely gets used to create jobs, etc.

10. I truly believe...
...that those in power and control on this planet--are of a global mindset.

Therefore, the United States really is no big deal anymore. Yes, it's a player, but
it's only one country.

And really--it is an empire and to a globalist--there can be no empires. All countries
must be marginalized and devolved into equally weak countries. There can be no empires
when the few at the top are attempting to dominate the world, its resources and all of
the wealth.

An empire is too risky. A massive protest could emerge from it. Furthermore, in rich
countries, people demand decent wages and benefits. Pretty soon, the other countries
will want those things too.

So, they're destroying America--in order to make it fit into a global economy--with everyone
being peasants and working to enrich the tiny power minority.

I'm convinced that this is what is happening. Why else would they suck out all of the jobs,
cut programs for the poor classes that they are creating, and cut Soc Sec and Medicare and
make healthcare so un-affordable--while poisoning our food and raising gas/food prices in order
to further squeeze us? It's not all some big mistake.

Heard of Occupy Wall Street? :)

There's hope, still. I didn't think there was until a month or so ago, but now, with OWS - I have hope.
