DETROIT (WXYZ) - Hundreds of people have converged on the 2nd Avenue Bridge near I-94 in an attempt to shut down traffic and call attention to the need for good jobs in Detroit.
The group is being led by a number of local ministers and members of the group Good Job Now. The protest is also in support of the Occupy movement's National Day of Action.
The National Day of Action includes protests and other activities around the country.
Among the ministers taking part is the Rev. D. Alexander Bullock of Greater St. Matthews Church. He is joined by ministers Charles Williams, Anthony Johnson, William Revely, Maurice Rudds and Cheryl Williams. ............(more)
