Police on bikes and on foot escorted the march and directed traffic.
The protesters are chanting "We are the 99 percent" and, "Whose streets? Our streets," the chants echoing off the buildings lining LaSalle.
At the LaSalle Street Bridge earlier, police said 46 people were issued citations. Although they were not arrested, police led those cited away from the main group of demonstrators so they could be ticketed. Demonstrators were cited with being pedestrians failing to exercise due said Jim Fennerty, an attorney with the National Lawyers Guild who is representing those involved in Occupy Chicago.
