1. Reminds me of when Colbert introduces his guest
He accepts the applause as if it were for him.. How do you know the honking is in support and not because they are blocking the streets?

2. LOL, ummm, because the honking is coming from cars on the bridge...
who aren't being blocked by the marchers on the walkway. I am surprised you didn't know that.

9. Gaining momentum.
Raising awareness notch by notch. Consolidating the first wave of people worldwide - the "ones who get it" immediately and viscerally without having to be told what this movement is about. But this is only the beginning. Tidal waves are coming in.

A description of what's happening in New York today from the Guardian UK.

Ryan Devereaux writes:
A massive projection is being displayed on the Verizon building south of the Brooklyn Bridge. In a series of shots it reads, "We are the 99%, Look around, you are a part of a global uprising...We are unstoppable, another world is possible...We are a cry from the heart of the world...It is the beginning of the beginning." The projection then goes on to display the names of occupations around the country in rapid-fire succession with the final name reading, "Occupy Earth." With a chorus of honking cars in the background, the crowd erupts in cheers and reads the display in unison as they pass.
