Coordinated Raids In Two Days... Time For A National General Strike

..... These recent raids are not coincident they are being planned, and funded by the CORPORATIONS that OWN the United States of America. And carried out by law enforcement making them complicit in the crime of violating our Constitutional RIGHTS.

I say the time is now for a national GENERAL STRIKE, not for a day,not for a week or a month but however long it takes to break the backs of corporations and make their wallets and heads spin. The quicker the 99% begin to collectively sacrifice the sooner we start the recovery.

I am pissed and angry.... If you have not planted your ASS on a sidewalk with a sign or donated to your local Occupy event WHY NOT?? I do not have $$'s,or food because I am out of work but I do have 20+ hours walking in the rainy cold air carrying my messages to the world. Your thoughts and prayers are nice but we need bodies not verbal support.

I am pissed tonight.

1. Emphatic K&R. First step (I think): outreach to national labor unions to get them

to refuse to obey Taft Hartley any longer.

Taft Hartley prevents unions generally from calling 'sympathy strikes'

I'm going to start pushing Occupy Los Angeles in this direction starting tomorrow (later today :)

4. Yes - that would have to be a first step.
Nothing is going to happen on a national level until this is more populated with labor and organized. Anything else is going to be a bloodbath. OWS has done very well so far in raising awareness, conditions will dictate when we have enough support to rachett it up. Getting organized labor as involved as possible is always a good step.

2. Confused
Here's what I dont understand. Youre calling for everyone to not go to work, is that really because you hope they'll get fired and then you can finally get a job? If we dont work, how can we get paid, to get money, to donate to you??

Youre not very in tune withttp://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/h how the world works, are you...
