Such a stupid threat by those assholes that said if they get texed too much they'll shut down their companies - yeah, like they won't make sure to first sell all the capital to someone else who will then use it to make jobs.

Its an empty threat that corporations and the wealthy will leave if taxed more. They truly are the easiest to replace, And even under Eisenhower with the highest tax rate the wealthy were still insanely wealthy and businesses still thrived.

I have yet to hear of the first guy pulling down a million or more a year who quit because he was taxed too much. I've also never heard any of these high earners deciding to quit because they "only" made $1 million or $10 million or $100 million or more in a year. Every last one of these greedheads just looks for a new and better way to siphon off more of the wealth created by labor.
