Also, Edwards' sex story wasn't really in the MSM until after the primaries were over. Before that it was confined to a tabloid. Cain, on the other hand, has a full-fledged national story before the voting has even started.

Edwards affair, while disgusting, was consenual. Gropper Cain's advances were not and were a clear abuse of power and position. To this woman, that difference is HUGE! To borrow Cain's own words - this is comparing apples and oranges.
