NEW STUDY:Majority Of Americans Want MORE Government Health Services NOT Less
Is Bigger Better When it Comes to Government Health Spending?
A new poll finds that a majority of Americans favor more government health services.

Published: Nov 07, 2011

Despite recent polling finding that a majority of Americans prefer a smaller overall government, a new poll by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Harvard School of Public Health found that a majority of Americans—52 percent—prefer a bigger government providing more health services, while just 37 percent support a smaller government providing fewer health services. In addition, the poll found that six in 10 Americans believe that if the United States spends more now on measures to improve health and prevention, the country will save money in the long run.

1. Single Payer, Universal Health Care
Just like the rest of the civilized countries have.

Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America:

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Section 8.
"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and PROVIDE FOR THE common defense and GENERAL WELFARE of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;..."

Government controlled, Single Payer, Universal health care for the people of the United States IS covered by the Constitution, because the relative health of our citizens does affect the general welfare of the Nation. 45,000 dead people a year are proof the profit driven, privately run systems we have in place now are not working to provide the necessary health care for our nation.

"We the people..." are getting ripped off by the 'Your Money or Your Life' health insurance companies.
