The Awesome Way Folks Everywhere Are Making Wall Street Pay
Is it just us or do all these people moving their money make you feel all giddy and hopeful inside?

1. I feel giddy that I'm going through the process. My account with the credit union is
already in place.

2. We should do this once a month until everyone is out of the bank bail out business
I couldn't do it on Saturday, but I will be sure to sometime this month. There are probably a lot of people that are reluctant to because of the hassle or because they couldn't make the Nov 5th day to move their money. In any case I think an ongoing action would make the banks very nervous, much more so than just a handful of people on one day.

5. I think moving banks takes a while. I had to make a list of everything I pay through my bank...
set up an account, make sure I covered all the bases so nothing suddenly pops up, now I have to advise the folks at my job to switch my account, etc. :)

Yep, mentioning it is good.

7. Step in the right direction -
but the big banks aren't going anywhere. When someone like Bill Gates has more money than 40% of the country moving small accounts is not going to make much of a difference to them - their billionaires will stay with them. Of course, it may be enough to push BOA out of business because they are already teetering - so for that alone I'm willing to participate.

What we really need to do is nationalize them, along with the energy sector and health care.
