Press TV: Carol, do you think that dark forces are at play? I mean we can't say that everybody who donates to St. Paul's Cathedral is up to no good but there are some people who make huge donations to the church?
Gould: Yes, well certainly among the friends I have and colleagues who are Tories, conservative; they feel that this is absolutely outrageous and that they do make donations and how could this have even been allowed to happen in the first place.
And that's where I start moving towards supporting the protesters, cause I say to them, excuse me, when you go to church don't you realize that as you said Jesus would have been out there in one of the tents.
It's most likely he would have; because he would have supported the ending of the money lending and the... his famous saying we must stop this den of thieves, we must make this temple stop being a den of thieves. And I think that if people think that there are dark forces, well it's a possibility but Richard Charter did come out and talk to the encampment. The church seems to pull back, allowing the protesters to stay to the New Year. I don't think this is about not being coherent in America. The protesters closed the port of Oakland over these past few days and more and more protests are becoming quite focused in the US. So as the days progress there is a lot more physical action.
Press TV: Carol, is the Church of England failing to practice what it preaches?<snip>
