Mortuaries and Personhood |
|
As we all know, there are various laws regarding the disposal of corpses. Here are some things I've been pondering regarding this personhood initiative. Feel free to ask questions of your own.
Will miscarriages have to be placed in coffins and given to the care of a mortuary?
Will the tissue have to be embalmed?
Will the coroner be obligated to autopsy the remains?
If a woman has a miscarriage in one state, will the fetus be put into a coffin and driven in a hearse to the town of the mother?
How much bereavement time does one get from work in the event of a miscarriage?

that this will become a new industry when they get their way. Don't forget that they have already proposed investigations of all miscarriages, probably with the intent of charging the woman with a failure of some sort that caused it.

will every tampon or pad have to be examined, and buried? All contents of toilet bowls examined also? Do they really think that every woman KNOWS she is carrying a "person" in the first few days or weeks????
I hope the people of Mississippi are more intelligent than their lawmakers.
