Karl Rove sticks a fork in Herman Cain

By ALEXANDER BURNS | 10/24/11 10:01 AM EDT

The Republican super-strategist pulls out a whiteboard on Fox News to tick off Herman Cain's self-destructive mistakes, concluding: "I think it has created an image of him as not being up to this task. That’s really deadly."

4. They have dueling PACs. Not fans of each other at all.
Rove is at least smart enough to know who the clowns are, yet not smart enough to fully understand that Romney is also unelectable.

5. "Romney Unelectable".....I love the idea...but what are
thoughts about why. I mean, I know the teabaggers and fundies don't like him.....and I know
he's a wishy-washy flip flopper, and I know he's anal retentive - hyper defensive and prone
to temper tantrums and bullying.....what else?

6. He got rich by closing companies and fireing workers. That is his record as a "Great Businessman".
When people get to know him, they are not going to like that.

2. Herb Cain is a certain loser to Obama (but could actually win the GOP nom)
that is why Rove is going after him.

7. Glad the whiteboard didn't say Florida.
Cain will fizzle soon...does anyone really believe the Republicans are serious about nominating a black man. Romney is the most presidential and would appeal to independents & progressives, but he is not the choice of the conservatives and teatanics. Huntsman may be the dark horse and end up being the compromise candidate. What about Anita Perry? Is she now shaking up the strutters campaign?
