Some Pix Of Yesterday's Boston OWS March
I went to Boston Common yesterday to take some pix of the student rally. There were at least 800~900 college students, retired folks, medical students, veterans at the gazebo.

Here's a few pix from yesterday.

Leaving Boston Common

State Troopers waiting for us at the State House

Sit In at the State House

Down Park Street

On Winter Street to Summer Street

Down Summer Street

Near Dewey Square

Sit in at South Station

Outside the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston

My camera ran out of batteries at that point in time.

From Dewey Suare the protest marched back up Summer Street and took a right onto Washington Street.

Marched up Washington Street and took a right on State Street.

Took a left on Congress Street and marched past Fanieul Hall. (mah doggies were starting to ache.....)

Took a side street up to the Boston Garden and took a right headed towards the Charlestown bridge, where one protestor was arrested for attempting to put a sign up over the bridge. I had to drop off at that point as my wheels were achin.

At that point in time, I had to give the Boston cops credit for not beating the fuck out of peaceful protestors.

You know our country is fucked up when you give credit for what should be expected.

4. Those "state" troopers are paid for by you and me, so to speak.
I get so damn mad when I see the cops "protecting" and barricading "Federal and state property".
That WE bought with OUR taxes.
Seriously pisses me off.
These OUR cities, our states, and the government has no right to sell public land and buildings, public roads, public schools and libraries, to private businesses. WE paid for them.

5. Awesome photos

Thanks for sharing. What a turnout!

I hope for every one brutally arrested last night, a dozen show up in his or her place.
