1. *nod* Saw it live. Going to get ugly. Hopefully they can keep it non-violent.
The authoritarian nature with which the call to leave was made is going to incite people though. Very unprofessional.

According to Legal: "The police are currently acting against the city's orders. The mayor's office is calling the police to tell them to back down for tonight."

8. wow... that's interesting. again, the people in this country have had enough, and doing these night
raids and destroying their camps protesting massive fraud by the banks, and collusion by the govt is just going to anger more people. I believe we are just *now* starting to see real signs of why OWS will grow into something, good or bad, and I want the POTUS to act, because we elected him to be a leader, and as I said, I don't want him losing to some fascist like Perry or Bachmann. If nothing is done to address the OWS movement, I believe he will lose a percentage of left voters to a 3rd party candidate, and he cannot afford that at ALL.

14. As someone pointed out at the special assembly, there's a political struggle happening.
The police, the mayor, all that is irrelevant, was his point.

THEY'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE.

Win. :)

Isn't that like a coup or something? Anyone here know much about the Seattle police? Are they white supremecist? Facist much? Any inside info?
