Jeb Bush suddenly realizes his mistake.
Back when he was Governor of Florida he pleased the right-wingers in the State by dismantling programs that would have allowed minorities to attend college. Jump to he present when Marco Rubio appears to be the next rock star. Bush suddenly wakes up and realizes that the statistics are beginning to expose him as a failure when it comes to minority advancements. I'm just enjoying watching how he's trying to make himself relevant again.

Hispanics need more help getting to college graduation, education leaders say

Former Gov. Jeb Bush and several education leaders gathered in Miami this morning to issue a "call to action" for the country to make changes that will help more Hispanics get into college and graduate.

Although recent reports show that more Hispanics are going to college, they're the least likely demographic group to graduate.

With President Barack Obama having set a goal of leading the world in college graduation by 2020, educators have focused on Hispanics — the nation's fastest-growing student demographic group — as a way to make progress.

Nationwide, about 19 percent of Hispanics ages 25-34 had earned an associate degree or higher as of 2009, compared to 49 percent of white students and 29 percent of black students, according to the College Board.
