Wall Steet protests need overarching themes: They are................

1. Glass Steagall

2. Criminal Prosecutions

All else is gravy and can be thrown in ala carte

Without clear unifying messaging, it's doomed. You want to take it nationwide, just say these two things, over and over, because the media can't ignore it indefinartely and it leads us down the rabbit hole where the GOP does not want to go and the Administration is too afraid to go. But it's a winner.

1. There were at least four demands in the original internet posting.
‘This Flag Day, Tuesday June 14th, we will launch a non-violent movement with this list of demands:

* End the campaign finance and lobbying racket
* Break up the Fed & Too Big to Fail banks
* Enforce RICO laws against organized criminal class
* Order Ben Bernanke to step down’

4. The WS protests need far fewer threads on DU
Does every member need to start a new thread?

Can't post in an existing thread?

I don't get it....

5. Great idea, but you are too late
it has already become a political rally, which means their false claim of representing 99% of the people is now even more wrong.

6. I beg to differ. Fair & Verifiable election must be included or else
we'll never get rid of the paid off politicians.

8. Uh...the Declaration of Independence was a patchwork of grievances.
Should they have narrowed it down to the quartering of British troops, and the enlistment of Indians, to give it a unifying message?
