Wells Fargo sucks (just like Bank of America)

A few of you may have read my rant yesterday when I took all my money out of BOA because of their new debit fees.

Silly me, I went to Wells Fargo. Mistake #1.

Today they tell me part of my money FROM A CASHIER'S CHECK is on hold until 10-12-2011

Goodbye commercial banks, hello credit unions forever !

1. Plus they hoovered up Wachovia which was pretty good

at least as far as customer services. Lending practices, not so much.

Find yourself a small, community-based bank or just go with a credit union -- one with good, member-oriented policies.

6. Wells Fargo has debit card fees also..

I got an e-mail last month saying they will charge $3 a month for debit usage starting in Oct.

It's not unique. You need to ACH or wire the funds for it to be available right away.

8. cashier's checks are almost the same as cash

A hold until 10-12-2011 is only OK to the CEO of Wells Fargo. Not gonna change my mind on this.

9. Wells Fargo uses their own rating agency to decide if your mortgage is

going to be inflated and then they turn around and sell it off... There seems something wrong with that....

11. and their monthly statement sucks - teeny tiny text and it looks

like an ad. I threw the first one away thinking it was an ad. I had Wakovia who bought First Union and now its changed again.

from Wells Fargo, and each time they took over the bank I moved to. Seriously.

I might move to the local credit union, or I should, soon.
