Allen West word associations: Obama 'Marxist" Biden 'Nutty'...
Wasserman Schultz "I need a bucket."

http://weblogs.sun-sentinel.com/news/politics/broward/blog/2011/09/when_thinking_of_wasserman_sch.html

'During a radio talk show interview in Houston on Monday, conservative talker Michael Berry, asked West to play a word association game. "I'll mention a name and I'm going to ask you to be undiplomatic unscripted" and say "the first thing that pops into your mind."

When West, a Republican from Plantation, was asked about Wasserman Schultz, a Democrat from Weston, he replied: "I need a bucket."

snip

'Some of West's other responses:

General Patton – "greatest war fighting general that the nation will ever know."

Saddam Hussein – "evil."

John Boehner – "speaker. I think it's positive. We voted for him to be speaker and he's doing the best possible job he can."

Maxine Waters – "loud."

Jeb Bush – "principled."

Rick Perry – (long pause) "needs a debate team."

Joe Biden – "let's see, I can think of nutty, I can think of mindless, absent minded."

Ronald Reagan – "America."

Colin Powell – "leader."

He also refers to President Barack Obama as a "marxist" and a "socialist."

more at link if you can stomach his infantilism.

5. Oh shock! Socialist! What an insult!
This of course the right wing strategy, to advance the idea that being a socialist is an insult, something you should defend yourself against. Something the Overton Window has moved far away from so you should hide. As usual, the correct response is to reject the principle, say you ARE a socialist. Welcome the insult as a compliment.
