2. Go, Herman, go!!! We know you can "deliver!"
It's been decades since I've had one of your pieces of soggy cardboard covered with "tomato sauce," but we know you can be POTUS! We know government should be run like a business! If Baby Bush can do it, you can too!!!

Herman Cain on Corporations

Take the capital gains tax rate & repatriation tax to zero. (Aug 2011)
Suspend taxes on repatriated profits, permanently. (Aug 2011)
Excessive regulation drives up prices; market self-regulates. (May 2011)
When was the last time a poor person gave you a job? (May 2011)
Lower corporate tax rate to 25%; and capital gains to 0%. (May 2010)

Herman Cain on Jobs

I understand workers' needs because I've been a worker. (Sep 2011)
Government doesn't create jobs; businesses create jobs. (Jul 2011)
Economy is stalled like a train with no engine & no fuel. (Jun 2011)
I believe in right-to-work laws. (Jun 2011)
Employee Free Choice Act is really forced unionization. (May 2011)
Card-Check is union intimidation, not free choice. (Feb 2009)

Herman Cain on Social Security

Chilean personal retirement model has worked for 30 years. (Sep 2011)
Let younger workers opt into personal retirement accounts. (Sep 2011)
Chilean model: they fixed the same broken system as US. (Sep 2011)
Restructure entitlement programs instead of reshuffling them. (Jul 2011)
Phase out of system with personal retirement plans at age 40. (Jun 2011)
Modernize entitlements; nothing should be off the table. (May 2011)
Government was never intended to be in retirement business. (Aug 2007)
Divert forced payroll tax to personal retirement accounts. (May 2006)
Throwing more money at broken system is simply stupid. (Jun 2005)
Congress is in gross denial; system is broken for decades. (Jun 2005)
Establish optional personal retirement accounts. (Jun 2005)
Payroll tax is highly regressive. (Jun 2005)

3. The Right Wing may see that the way to beat a black man is with a black man...
There could be more method to their madness than we realize. Cain is a big biz sort (Godfather's Pizza), and can insulate the Right from charges of racism, even as they take down Obama as being aloof, weak and out of touch. MSM could be in a predicament: Will they criticize a black RW candidate, or will they feel emboldened since Obama would be his opponent? IMO, MSM is more reluctant to criticize the RW than a candidate who is black, no matter his/her views. They WILL gladly go after anyone to the left of LBJ, however.

5. This is a setup -- they're trying to knock Perry out of the race
Edited on Thu Sep-29-11 12:26 PM by rocktivity
It's Cain's two points behind Perry that we should be keeping an eye on -- are they THIS desperate to do it?

6. Roger Ailes knows how unelectable Perry is
So do the Kochs. They just let Perry have enough of a podium to scare Romney rightward.

Now they're letting Cain have his moment so he can chase Perry back to Austin (couldn't you send him ANYWHERE but back to Texas?).

They they'll get around to what they really had in mind all along: will they let Romney have the nomination, or do they
need to look for the big unknown Mr. X who hasn't been shown to the public yet? Don't count on Christie being the one,
either. Ailes wants someone who will shine in the sun, not someone who could cause a one-man solar eclipse.

10. The flavor of the month is "pizza"
Or, in Cain's case, greasy cardboard covered with bland tomato sauce and fake cheese.
