Investigating Bologna
http://www.commondreams.org/further/2011/09/28-3

New York City officials have reversed themselves and announced two investigations - by the police department and the D.A.'s office - into the egregious pepper spray attack on Wall Street protesters by NYPD cop Anthony Bologna. Even while noting that a second, equally incriminating video of Bologna randomly macing bystanders had surfaced, the Times story was full of bet-hedging and back-pedalling; that, and history, do not bode well for a just outcome.

2. If nothing else he has put away his pepper spray.
He probably will get an early retirement deal.

8. What made you conclude that?
I see this in the article: "Inspector Bologna, who formerly led the 1st Precinct and now works in counterterrorism...", but I'm not sure that precludes him from policing protesters (who are often considered to be terrorists).

Was there something else that led you to think he won't be using pepper spray on protesters anymore?

15. Even the SS was camera shy why there are so few photographs that survived.
Not there yet but sliding that way. The last thing any jack boot wants is photographic documentation. It is too hard to round up all of those cell phones.

3. Just hypothetically speaking, what would happen if a protester sprayed him with OC?
I'm guessing major jail time.

But it's okay when he does it . . .

5. It's nice to be a police officer in a police state...
You can defend the rich, the big corporations and Wall Street and you can have fun while you do it.

7. That Nose rivals WC Fields'

Past medical training here might indicate that nose reveals a heavy, heavy drinker.

Can't diagnose by internet, but I'd place a wager that Tony "Fuckface" Baloney is a raging alcoholic.

10. It was particularly interesting how Baloney moved in, sprayed the corralled women and then casually
turned and strolled away as if he did nothing. He should be arrested for assault, but I won't hold my breath.

12. Exactly . . . what was the point? To inflict pain?
I thought the police had to have some justification for what they do.

Silly me.

14. The important thing is that we will not be denied our peaceful integrity.
It is very important to say NO to this type of behaviour, especially from large organizations.
