Democrats Hope Tea Party Candidates Win GOP Primaries, Help Keep The Senate Blue

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/28/tea-party-senate_n_984186.html

“Extreme Tea Party challengers across the country are gaining momentum attacking establishment candidates like the Tea Party’s enemy number one Dick Lugar, lobbyist and TARP supporter Pete Hoekstra, big spender and lobbyist Tommy Thompson and ethically challenged Attorney General Jon Bruning," Canter added. "With Tea Party challengers already showing strength, the stage is set for the same bruising primary battles that killed Republican general election chances in 2010."

Seems the tea baggers may be the best thing to happen to Obama's campaign.

3. It actually helped in the Senate, not so much in the House
Without Sharon Angle, Christine O'Donnell, and the other two nutjobs running in Colorado and West Virginia, the Republicans might control the Senate. And it nearly cost them Pennsylvania as well.

5. Exactly, teabaggers are likely the reason why democrats held the Senate.
The House was an emotional battle from the start, republicans demonetized Nancy Pelosi and she nor democrats fought back. Pelosi at times seemed stunned by the virulent, baseless and corrupt attacks that republicans launched against her.

4. Democrats in states that have open primaries, MUST vote for the Tea Party
candidate. Then vote like a true democrat in the general and send a democrat to the Senate.
