I was looking at this photograph of the Washington Monument this morning. Do you notice anything odd, or is it just me?

They fly right down the Potomac on approach or make hard left turns coming from the east.

Used to have to drive over the 14th street bridge every day in my MG and it always freaked me out a little. Is there still a park there where you can watch the planes take off and fly right overhead?

and mind you, now... I was looking at this at 3:30 am PDT, in the middle of my first cup of coffee. But, look at the building's architecture.
