3. From the petition:
"We must stand united and stop this horrific tragedy from happening to more of our children and start an organization to help both the bullied and the bully's."

6. I read that, but I don't know what it means. Am I joining the organization if I sign,
or am I saying an organization is a good idea, or am I simply saying I don't like bullies? The petition seems open to interpretation.

I am not trying to be annoying; I just like to know what I am signing.

9. FWIW,
I received a report from a parent about 2 students bullying her child 15 minutes before school started this morning.

I was at the drop-off point when those 2 students arrived, escorted them to the office, and they waited until the principal could meet with them. He promptly suspended them, sent them home, and made regular parent meetings to discuss how to support them in changing their behavior, and to discuss their progress, part of the conditions for them to return when their suspension is up.

They never made it past the office.

Having been flagged, their peer interactions will be under some pretty intense scrutiny for the rest of their tenure with us.

It's something we can do, being a small school. It's easier to keep tabs on all of our students, and on individuals who need more oversight, or who need support for developing positive social behaviors.
