I live in Portland Oregon -- about as far away from NYC and/or WashDC as one can get unless they live in
Hawaii -- and am scheming on how to get my ass to NYC and then to DC by OCT 6th. This may be that
tipping point we've all been waiting for, for how long now?????

Let's do EVERYthing we can collectively do to keep this alive, and growing, and sprouting, and insinuating itself
into the collective consciousness of this nation, and create a better so-called reality for all.

4. OccupyATL will be outside CNN today collecting signatures

to arrest the State of Georgia for murder.

Occupy Chicago is ramping up. They need legal, bodies and media and they're going to get those things, too. Big attitude. :)

5. It makes Chris Hedges smile. He has spoken out for this.

Sadly, we're really in this due to our consumption habits. And due to those who "help" us with them. I don't mean to imply guilt. It's like being drunks. We just don't realize. We're only becoming conscious now.

We've got a lot of work ahead. And it is going to take a lot of time.

I hope we can do it. It's a huge shift to get back to where we were. There were 100 car companies at the turn of the last century.

a tiny tax every wall street and bank transaction would add up to quite a bit in a short time. This could be applied to the debt.

new 90% tax on short term capital gains (stop the constant pilfering from the stock market)
