PCRM Insults Wisconsinites with billboard.
http://www.bluecheddar.net/2011/09/26/insult-to-wisconsin-billboard-attacking-cheese-installed-near-green-bay/

A Washington DC-based organization called Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine has installed a billboard near Green Bay, Wisconsin.

There is so much wrong with this affront on cheese in the Dairy State that I don’t know where to begin, but here is my feeble attempt, which will focus on only 2 points:
First, the enjoyment of the world’s cuisines must allow for delicious products which are made from dairy fat. Such savoring of the fine and simple pleasures in life may occur in moderation and this has been so for generations. It falls under the category of pursuit of happiness.

Second, eating fat in itself does not lead to heart disease and or obesity. In fact if that were the case, this lifelong Wisconsinite, raised on literally wheels of Colby cheese plopped on the dinner table and cheese curds still warm from being plucked from a cheese factory vat a few miles away would be suffering from those conditions. And I am not. And neither are any of my 3 siblings. Interestingly, my family has so far displayed no heart disease – unless you count somebody getting mild high blood pressure in their late 70′s.

According to AdWeek this billboard debuted today near Lambeau Field, “where the Green Bay Packers routinely send opponents to meet their maker and the team’s fans don fromage chapeaus to bug the rest of humanity to death.” I’m not sure how exactly to bug PCRM to death. I’m open to ideas.

1. Dumb. In a state where one can get fried butter (smores, oreos, scotch eggs, etc) on a stick.

But cheese is bad? No, bad processed "cheese type product" is bad. Cheese is good. Things making us fat are: McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, Arbys, Culvers, pizza, high fructose corn syrup, soda and lack of physical activity also, too. My friend said she's gonna rig up a nacho cheese cannon, and blast that stupid sign.

3. Ahhhh! Cheese corrupts!
I am on a rather strict 1200 calorie diet right now. I still get to eat cheese.

These people leave me speechless.

4. My "fromage chapeau" was not designed to "bug the rest of humanity to death"....
