Are trial transcripts public records? How would you obtain one?

I'm thinking about the trial transcript for the IN COLD BLOOD killers.

You will have to pay for it, though. Maybe $1/page or so. It will run to many pages; they are typed double-spaced. Contact the Clerk of Courts in the county in which the trial was held for details on getting it.

3. You're talking about a very, very large collection of documents.

Very expensive. I did a search to see if they had been published in some way, but couldn't find them. The cost of copying those transcripts would probably be prohibitive.
