money, then more money, then it becomes compulsive and greed sets in ... then money can buy no more and then it becomes all about power and more power.

It's an obsessive compulsion like all similar compulsions, and these days it runs wild.

IMO it's just the end result of unbridled capitalism reeking of F humanity. And the sociopaths rise to the top. Then the sociopaths do each other in ... and then we have to deal with the fall out. And then some will get bailouts, 'cause they're just too big to fail. It's F'en mess and the end result will do humanity no good.
