Just being sent info about this on twitter. So filling in details as I learn them. Anyone understand Greek and can translate, please fill in info on the comments thread. I’ve been sent this tweet asking people to call state tv on +302106092342 to demand the students be heard.

* Students interrupt live news broadcast

Here is a video clip apparently from the occupation of the live news:(on the site)

3. Beat me to it
there is an AFP story allready: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x5005766s

It seems the student's want their voice heard about why they are occupying universities and fighting against the new education law. From what I've heard the new education law takes away the asylum right of universities, which banned police from entering campus areas. Holy right to many Greeks who remember the Junta and the resistance of Polytechnical. Other parts of the law, AFAIK, is the usual neoliberal garbage of making universities and academic life slave to neoliberal economic dogmatism.

4. everyone everywhere needs to pay attention to this action.
we are all being lied to and deserve better. shill journalists (propagandists) should live in fear of lying to the public.
one truth i'd like to see outed: that it is the policy decisions of the rich and powerful that are at the root of our financial and political problems and not the behavior of the weak and poor. they are the failures not us. they should not remain in power and they should not remain rich.

5. We are waking up
and the truth cannot be denied. As long as our governements are controlled by banksters and represent the interests of banksters, they are occupying force keeping people in debt slavery and robbing people and environment for the benefit of banksters.

11. i also think many are beginning to wake.
my fear is that no one knows what to do about it.
we really want the system to be able to cure itself which it probably isn't willing or able to do.
all other answers are pretty scary.

10. I just can't help thinking this is a good idea for us
We need to make these lying news readers uncomfortable being talking heads for the fascist/Koch Takeover of America. Currently they are living it up. We need to make them miserable for being traitors.

And of course, during a live broadcast V style, take over the newscast (nonviolently)...and speak the truth.
