It would have been better if they put the names of the people associated with each one of the little figures making up the map of the country in Arabic, but still, it's clever.

7. I know--I didn't not see them written in ARABIC in the example I pulled up, though.

The people who need to be heartened by this sort of thing are the people who live in Smyrna or Damascus, who are going to the gubmint website to find the number for public works or the department of taxation, or something on those lines. Many Syrians are well educated and can make out the western alphabet, but it's more local if the names had been in Arabic--that's my only point.
