Police Officer Tases Teenager in the Face to Stop a Fight

This is outrageous. Officers in London, Ontario approached this fight this Thursday with the hope of stopping it. The response was to tase the youth in the face. In what world is that appropriate?

The London police are already conducting an investigation into the matter, but you can already hear the outrage on the part of the witnesses at the scene.

And will stop a fight just as quickly.

Yeah, the sprayed person is miserable for a few days, but there's a lot less chance of doing permanent harm.

Watch the video - it's obvious that he was backing away as was the other youth. Both had stopped fighting as the cop approached, as I'm sure they were having an "oh shit" moment. As for punk, I didn't see any evidence to indicate who started the fight. How do you know he wasn't just getting bullied?

It is very apparent that the youths were backing away from each other upon seeing the cop and had stopped fighting. There is absolutely no doubt that this was excessive force.
