Tired of hearing how smart Gingrich supposedly is from media whores
Oh, he's an ideas man? Sorry, but I think they are inventing a new term for diarrhea of the mouth. You can tell by watching Gingrich in debates that the guy has SUCH a high opinion of himself as well, and he has absolutely no basis for this high opinion.

The guy has always struck me as a complete and utter moron and forgive me if I don't assume he is intelligent.

Gingrich is good at three things:

Looking like a fat elf.
Cheating on former wives.
Being able to stuff more than one donut into his mouth at once.

He hates teachers because he was denied tenure at West Georgia University. This denial was probably due to the fact that he couldn't get any articles published in reputable journals.

Is he smarter than Bachmann? Yes. Is he smarter than Perry, Santorum and Cain? Unquestionably. But that's not saying much. Democrats should be reminding Americans that Gingrich is an ugly weirdo who was cheating on his wife at the same time he was criticizing Clinton for doing the same thing.

1. Have you ever tried to read his fiction? Calling it sophomoric is an insult
to sophomores!

3. His face looks like something I vomited up in college
If you put a wig on him he would resemble a girl I was with after about 12 too many drinks. To say he is hideous is understating it.

6. I prefer to focus on his behavior rather than appearance.

7. It's hard for me to separate the two because
it's his ideas that make him seem so ugly. For example, Santorum is probably a 6 or so on the attractiveness scale, but the ideas coming out of his mouth make him so repulsive to me that he appears physically uglier, if that makes any sense.

2. He reminds me of Milosevic sometimes
This is the type of man that would be really dangerous if he ever did become president, thankfully, that isn't in the cards with Gingrich.

4. He actually really does resemble him
I remember thinking this a few years ago but thanks for reminding me. He annoys me when he considers every non-gimme question to be a gotcha question. Paw wittle Gingrich.

9. oh please - despite 50-1 odds let Gingrich be the GOP nominee
He is so repulsive even the mushy middle of the electorate can see it.

Where Perry is the Marlboro Man who can fool the mushy middle.

10. He was the very first person to realize the power of the cable...
He was one of the first people to get his class up on what was then called Cable Classrooms. Back in the late80's. they actually broadcast real college courses on the cable that anyone could watch. You had to be signed up to get credit, but you could watch.

He was teaching at a community college in Georgia ad taught a "history" class. It was so full of right wing crap that it was laughable. But it wa popular and it made his successful as a "conservative" intellectual. Which is really the ultimate oxymoron.

The way I look at it is the whole philosophy is based on being clever, about how to frame and re frame the same old tired refrains.

Anyway, he is clever, he is cunning, we have to give him that.

12. &Newt made long speeches on Cspan to an empty chamber
Cspan would cover "special order speeches". Viewers didn't realize the chamber was empty.

11. He somewhat successfully earned the title of futurist
At the right time - the dot-com explosion, somewhat going against his own party who want to return to the past. His ideas were pretty much taken and extended from Future Shock and The Third Wave by Toffler, but at the time when endless possibilities internet-wise existed at the same time as a relatively good national optimism, he was able to find a niche.

15. He says nothing but he 'sounds' so reasonable that people think he said something
It's a carefully cultivated trick he's developed. He uses as much word salad as Sarah Palin does.
