COMMENTARY

Today's Koch Bros. bought and paid for tea party representatives seem to prefer parroting their corporate masters agenda in a hyper-partisan and friendly environment, and one in which dissent and free speech are severely frowned upon. A few weeks ago, three people were arrested and twenty were escorted out during a town hall conducted by Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wis), the Congressman who exasperated democrats earlier this year with his anti-social security rhetoric and policy proposals. snip

One small glance at the demographics of where Christie holds town halls as he meanders listlessly across New Jersey (when he's actually here) shows a fairly obvious reason for it. Zip codes may change, but the cast of citizens in attendance remains as steady and predictable as piles of dirty snow in New Jersey parking lots in March. Crowds are predominately white. Most are senior citizens. And they're generally getting a glimpse of Gov. Boss Hog in towns that are richer, less racially diverse and considerably more amenable to Republicans than the rest of the state, according to a Star-Ledger analysis.

2. Guess Christie isn't making a pilgrimage to Paterson any time soon, huh?
