Time after time, the Rethug debate audences show the truth about themselves
Edited on Fri Sep-23-11 03:18 PM by Bake
They are mean-spirited, petty, spiteful, hateful pissants. They cheer executions. They cheer the deaths of the uninsured. They boo U.S. soldiers.

I refuse to believe they represent America. How can Americans continue to tolerate this kind of crap?

8. I don't know it that was a typo or intentional, but it's brilliant.
The sole, indeed. They're shitheels.

3. "How can Americans continue to tolerate this kind of crap?"
The $64,000 question!

As long as we DO tolerate it, I think they DO represent us.

If and when those people are shunned by everyone who meets them...

When they can no longer call ANYONE friend without being rebuffed...

When average Americans stand on street corners and shout "FUCK THE TEABAGGERS!" and no one dares to argue...

Then, I'll agree that the TP doesn't represent us.

Until then, we are known by the company we tolerate.

4. I don' know, Bake. I'm thinking *we* are the odd ones.
Lately, it seems like being hateful is as American as apple pie.

I'm beginning to think we aren't going to turn this around.

6. Even worse: apparently NONE of the jokes on stage had to
courage to call out the audience on it. Huntsman did, AFTER the debate. Not good enough.

12. I believe it has having an effect on the middle line conservos. My friend in CO, after 10 years,
when sent an email forward from me pointing out their latest attack on the middle class, while calling for rich people's taxes to be lowered said, "I don't know why I even got into supporting these people, they are just so slimy and letting us down". That is the first time this person has ever agreed with me about the GOP. They usually send me anti-Obama emails every 2 weeks, but this current field of crazies in the GOP is scaring them off.
