Blast from the past to make you laugh...
The political genius of George W. Bush - Carlos Watson
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/11/08/watson.policy/index.html

Monday, November 8, 2004 Posted: 2:43 PM EST (1943 GMT)

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Whether you are a Democrat, a Republican or an independent, it is hard not to look at President Bush's re-election victory last week and conclude that he is probably one of the three or four most talented politicians of the last half of a century.

Why do I write that? Think about it. In 10 short years, George Walker Bush has won not just one but three high-profile political races that most able politicians would have lost.

2. It's funny because it's true.
He really WAS a talented politician.
Talented president?
Not so much.
Probably the worst ever...

4. Oh come on...really, LOL! Bill Clinton is a talented
politician and he didn't need a propaganda network behind him 24/7. And that's in spite of a 8 year investigation into every nook and cranny of his life sponsored by fascist millionaires.

George W is not, nor never was a "talented politician." Fool me once shame on...duhhh, wait, whut??

6. Yes, Bill Clinton is a talented politician.
And, he was a talented president.

Dubya got 50 some-odd million people to vote for him. Twice.
You don't do that without some amount of talent in connecting with people.
Yes, he connected with the backwash, but he connected.
50 million dimbulbs felt like they could have a beer with the man.
I know you don't like, but that takes certain qualities that most of us don't possess.
His father doesn't possess that at all, and he got elected once for real.
Actually, I would say that Dubya's talent as a politician is the ONLY quality he possess.

Of course, it didn't work on you or on me, because we can see past the superficiality that hides the rotten core, but by definition, 49% of the people are of below average intelligence. That's who he connected with...

7. Dubya got 50 some-odd million people to vote for him. Twice.
No. His minions rigged the Diebold machines to add up to 50 million. Twice.

I voted in Palm Beach county in 2000 and 2004. I know when I picked Kerry in 2004, the machine showed Bush....twice. On the 3rd try is confirmed Kerry. When I told the Poll manager that the defective machine should be taken out of service, they made me leave, and kept using the rigged machine.

Bush didn't win anything legally.

8. No he didn't win legally. Either time, and we were all told
to basically be polite about it, and most knew the fix was in. Now look where we are. I dare the fuckers to try that again with their machines. Things will get real ugly real fast.

9. OK, so he got 48 million people to vote for him twice.
Whateverthefuck...

I know those elections were stolen. You don't have to convince me.
That's not at all the least bit about what I'm talking about, in response to the OP.

The man was a talented politician. And we all know that politicians can be among the slimiest members of society. The fella was good at what he did. He was not good at what he was not good at, which was most things.

Bush Derangement Syndrome is just as serious an affliction as Clinton or Obama Derangement Syndrome. It won't allow even the most intelligent among us to admit that George Walker Bush was good at backslapping, nicknaming, deal-brokering and generally getting the dumb people in society to think that he was the bees knees.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that your Diebold machine was rigged...
