9. Well, you'd hardly eat a live frog.
Most meat-eaters I know are pretty particular about only eating animals that are dead.

7. Bah! I drank them for years...
Before having a well put in, the only drinking water came from a spring up the hill.

Twice a year it would need to be mucked out (the spring house was a concrete tank with a little building around it and a roof, and the spring ran along the ground and entered the tank).

Often there would be frogs swimming in it.

One year the lines got clogged. Mr Pip went up the hill and had me attach a hose to the bottom in the cellar to blow out whatever was blocking it.

Out flew frog parts and pieces. Legs, feet, etc.

Funny thing was, that water always tasted pretty damned good...

10. How did Andrew Zimmern miss this one?
He will apparently eat or drink anything with the exception of durian. Hell, he even ate balut.

11. It probably goes well with Balut, my former girlfriend loved the stuff.
When I was overseas, I would try anything and much of it was good but I could never bring myself to eat Balut.

Graphic pic on link.

Thanks for the thread, Ian David.

12. Isn't there a DUer who goes by the name Crunchy Frog?
Sorry, ain't going to click on the link, the thought alone of eating a frog whole--dipped in chocolate to boot--is enough to turn my stomach. :puke:
