Jack Welch looks like a damned Bundist goblin on CNBC.
This station really makes me ill.

Two right wing hacks disguised as anchors (Joe Kernen and Michele Caruso-Cabrera, both staunchly to the right of Bewsh 43, both with anti-Progressive, pro-Laissez-Fail books out) are interviewing one of the worst human beings known to mankind, Neutron Jack Welch, all for the purpose of 1-2 hours HATE.

Hate on regulations ("we need to freeze all regulation until unemployment falls" . . . :wtf: ), hate on labor costs . . . but love for American "more with less off-the-charts" productivity, of course.

Hate on government, particularly Democratic ones, says it needs to be shrunk (yawn). Don't really know why Neutron Jackoff thinks that a center-right government that gives wealthy pieces of shit like him everything they want goes against his philosophies. Don't know how he's hating on a government that, by all evidence, IS decreasing, but we'll still continue to allow him to rant and red-bait, I guess. It's GE's "news" channel, so I guess that means we'll think what they tell us to think. :eyes:

Hate on the jobs bill, which, according to him "has clauses that are not going to get people to hire".

I mean, how bad of a bastard . . . how big a piece of shit do you have to be when you think that a government that's practically bending over backwards to give corporations and businesses and the wealthy everything they want and not making life even an atom speck less comfortable . . . isn't fascist ENOUGH for you??

Disgraceful.

1. "Poor man wants to be rich, Rich man wants to be king..."
said Sprinsteen.

People like Welch want complete control.

4. Can't. I work on a trading floor. It's what we have to watch at work.
We have about 18 channels and this is one of them. Since we don't get BloombergTV (financials without so much RW agitprop), we get this garbage instead.

The only saving grace is that it's muted. :)

6. That guy Jack Welch is lower than a whale turd.
To reduce morale and the payroll, every year he'd fire 10-percent of his workforce. The guy changed the core business of GE from manufacturing to finance, screwing America even more.

His successor in running the successful GE tax dodge, Jeffrey Immelt, also loves offshoring jobs, wealth and welfare for the wealthy. Of course, he's President Obama's big advisor on jobs.

Maximum strength turds, they.

7. Welch actually had the balls to say he "helped them because they were complacent".
I really don't understand the logic behind that strategy. So he fires the bottom 10% one year, and the people who survive each subsequent year, who managed to survive one year now won't survive the next? What exactly made them a "bad" performer in a year's time? What were the circumstances of that "bad" performance? To what end does this go to . . . where we're firing the middle-40% because they're deemed "bad" only because they're forced to handle the work of all others fired prior to them?

Someone PLEASE tell me how that's great management strategy. I guess when he writes about "Winning" . . . he pretty much means "Himself".

Al Dunlap, his partner in slime, once asked a worker on the floor how long he had been there. The worker replied 30 years.

Chainsaw Al: "Why would you or anyone want to work in one place for 30 years?"

Well, here's the thing, AL. I don't have a liquid fortune at my disposal like SOME people do that'll tide me over between jobs that shitbags like you fire me and others from. I kind of like and NEED the security and steady pay. It has nothing to do with being complacent. It has to do with the social contract and the sustainability of this "capitalism" thing you people praise lovingly. See, if I'm not employed . .. right? ... . I kind of can't BUY your products. Multiply that by about 10-20 million people and you see where I'm going with this.

I'm a CEO. What's in it for ME to LOWER my customer base? How would I survive? Has anyone stopped and asked themselves that?

9. Wholly agree with the assessment of those two anchors: my skin usually crawls
over what spews from their mouths. And neither is that Welsh guy a swell feller either imo. :patriot:
