I realize I'm stating the obvious but how this subversion has succeeded is actually mindbogglingly.

Murdoch and his criminal gang have not only directly given political contributions to the Republican party they have turned over an entire news network, which is a financial entity, to the GOP. This is corporate fascism on steroids and apparently the people of this nation are destined to suffer through an age of ignorance and suppression. Obama being re-elected will not end the fact that this is a subversive plan to destroy true debate of political ideas and should be considered a criminal and treasonous plan to destroy real democracy.
This is just another, more modern way, for maniacal bigots to get there way.
