5. Hope they did no† kill it.
I am a snake lover and have owned 2 boa constrictors. They make great pets and reached 7 feet before I could not afford to feed them rats anymore, but I doubt that I would want an anaconda that size.

Actually, though they are edible, apparently they don't taste so good. What's popular about them is their skin, apparently....

16. That's a medium-sized one.
They can grow to nearly double that size.

I love anacondas. :) I'm guessing (hoping) that since this was a team of biologists, they took some measurements and then let him/her go back into the jungle unharmed.

17. Yep - they'e found bigger ones before
up to 30ft. Beautiful skin and yes biologists usually leave them in their surroundings.
