In case anyone cares, McCotter drops out of presidential race.

PLYMOUTH, Mich. -- Republican presidential candidate Thad McCotter dropped out of the race on Thursday.

The guitar-playing five-term congressman from Livonia, Mich., launched his presidential bid July 2 in Whitmore Lake.

Known for his eccentric sense of humor and independent streak the 45-year-old attorney opened his national campaign headquarters in Plymouth, Mich. He had said he would push for a fundamental restructuring of government and for Wall Street banks that received federal bailout money to free up credit.

I'd bet the house on an incredible comeback by Thad.

Why is it that whenever one of these assclowns drops out the media pretends they actually had an independent streak. This prick was so well whipped by DeLay back in the day I'm surprised he didn't show up at committee hearings wearing a leather bustier and ball gag.
