Articles of Confereration... ask a republican about it and...
they haven't a clue as to what it is and why it was scraped in favor of the Current (200 year old) Constitution of the United States.

it is like they completely miss how a weak federal Government failed after only 5 years.

Are celebrating a document that dramatically concentrated and consolidated power at the national level. Remember, the Anti-Feds reeked with distrust of the "Assembly of Demigods" who crafted the Constitution.
