Troy Davis Execution Delayed, Awaits Supreme Court Review
Lawyers for convicted killer Troy Davis have succeeded in halting his execution, which was set to take place at 7 pm ET tonight.

Georgia officials are waiting for the Supreme Court's decision as they review the facts of the case; meanwhile, thousands wait around the globe in support of Davis, convinced of his innocence.

Hundreds of protestors have gathered at the state prison in Jackson, and law enforcement dressed in riot gear are standing by.

Davis was convicted for the 1989 slaying of off-duty police officer Mark MacPhail. His execution has been delayed four different times in four years.

He just happened to be the justice to get the filing. All 9 have been copied on the pleading and are deliberating.

3. Lazy media.
No one is "convinced of his innocence". We are saying that fallible, collaborated and since recanted eye-witness testimony should NEVER be the sole means of proving guilt in a capital case.
