Todd Palin to file for Divorce..
Edited on Wed Sep-21-11 01:25 PM by HipChick

Well..DM but great headline..

http://theimmoralminority.blogspot.com/

Sarah Palin could be set to lose both her marriage and her political career after the release of the explosive biography on the Tea Party darling. Friends close to the politician and her husband Todd say he is 'fed up' with the constant scandals that have plagued their marriage ever since she ran for vice president and is ready to file for a divorce.

As well as kissing goodbye to her marriage, it has also been alleged that her advisers have told her to kiss goodbye to the White House fearing a bid would be 'political suicide'.
Well I don't really know how valid the Daily Mail's sources are, but I CAN say that I have been hearing about the Palins preparing for divorce for over two years now.

My guess is that Todd will not leave Sarah as long as it is financial lucrative for him to stay with her.

DM story..

1. Couldn't he go for Alimony and Child Support though?
Since he's 'supported' her through her career?

5. Last sentence.......what I was thinking while reading the post
It'll be a hot day in Alaska before Todd gives up his gravy train. He'll wait until she is no longer relevant. If she doesn't run in the Republican primary, her days as an "influential" operative for the Tea Party and/or Republican Party will just about be done after 2012.

as long as Sarah is making money. Relations have been frosty between these two for years, and yet they keep up the facade.

9. She's completely jumped the shark already. This little book is just the backsplash.
It'll make the author some money, though, and that's fine. Miz Palin has made a fortune by doing absolutely nothing (or absolutely nothing GOOD); someone might as well make a few bucks outing her about it.

Her fifteen minutes were up hours ago.

The only one who has anything to live down, at this late stage, is poor Glen Rice!

rate for divorcing Limpballs. Hard way to earn 10 million tho.

32. Not too sure about that. Last night the media was saying how she was right behind Obama in the polls
They keep trying to push her as legitimate, or normal.

That's why I K&R every revelation of her phoniness and nastiness.

28. No, it's done with snow machines
They send both of them into polar-bear-infested territory. The one who makes it out gets all the marital property. If they BOTH make it out, they have to stay married.

So have I, from the same source that told me the Clintons were splitting.

I guess you have trouble averting your eyes from fly-by-night headlines while standing in the checkout line, too.

Don't care. Lots of reasons to drop bombs on Palin. Whether or not she's getting a divorce is not one of them.

24. I doubt very seriously if he will ever walk away from that cash cow.
Yes, he might get a nice divorce settlement, but why bother with that? She pulls in millions now with speaking fees and book royalties, and Alaska is a community property state. Half of all that is his.

25. The Cynic In Me Says
The cynic in me says that News Corp. is trying to clear the path for some other Republican to clinch the GOP nomination for President in 2012. By discrediting the Wasilla Diva and her immediate family, the way will be cleared for some News Corp-friendly Republican to romp all the way to the GOP national convention in Tampa next August.

Palin is definitely the less intelligent of the two, but they don't ever call her out on anything.
