CNN's piece Trys to Spin Doubt on Troy Davis's Innocence. FU CNN !
Edited on Wed Sep-21-11 07:48 AM by annm4peace
I caught that last couple minutes of CNN this morning on Troy Davis's murder.

They had on the former Prosecutor stating that the witness that have recanted do so under pressure from Troy Davis supports,, then they cut to the MacPhil's widow of her press conference after Board denies Clemency.

The couch sitting anchors o(ne of them the ball headed financial guy), then talked of how all the courts have upheld his guilt.

Sick.

Isn't CNN in Georgia ? I say Boycott CNN. Not that i have taken them as a credible NewsSource in recent years or even as entertainment.. I was just flipping news stations.

I can't find the clip online that I just saw.

So I guess they think that the former FBI direct is wrong, that Jimmy Carter is wrong.. and the list goes on.

It was the American Morning, if you want to send them a note.

1. It's a very sad day.
Killing Davis for this murder is beyond wrong.

I don't watch CNN.

2. Yep, CNN is headquartered in Atlanta.
I actually toured their facility when I was there on a business trip.

How far they have fallen... I've been listening to the coverage this morning here at work as well, and am just sickened.

They're really going to do it -- Georgia is going to execute an innocent man tonight, and many people will cheer.

6. It isn't a matter of who is right or wrong.
What matters is when there is the slightest doubt and putting a man to death. This nation better hope there isn't a God as we have certainly lost our way.

8. It is unconscionable. If there is the slightest doubt, there should NOT be an execution.

7. So they tried to give viewers both perspectives?

Insane!!!!!!1!

When I first heard about this case, it was from his supporters' perspective. After seeing so many cases like that, it looked like just another instance of family/friends claiming his innocence.

But then I saw a story that gave the prosecution's side. The holes in their own case is what gave credibility to Davis's side.

I don't see anything wrong with giving both sides and letting people make up their own minds.

9. Lol, both sides. Like those that think the earth is round and those that think it's flat
both should get their say. Right?
