2. Afraid their own children will stand up to their bullying?
Can't give up intimidation... Without intelligence, education, and skills, they have nothing else.

3. I would have to say that THEY are the bullies, and resent being called on their bullshit
It's got nothing to do with any future base. Case in point - Eric Cantor is a bully. Asshole actually refusing to extend fema aid to *his OWN district* unless there were offset cuts in other government programs?

He's a bully who should literally be taken out to the shed, and have a half dozen other waiting for him in that shed, with baseball bats at the ready.

4. Privatized schools don't want lawsuits. That's the reason behind the 'pro-bullying' memes
The profitizers will work hard to see that $chool$ have limited liability

5. Bullies and groups of bullies also make more better sheeple - the staple of the gop base.

6. And because the roots of bullying are the basis of the entire GOP philosophy.
I've got mine, screw all of you.

I'm entitled to anything I want, you're not.

I deserve to feel superior to anyone who's not as lucky or as powerful as me.

9. People who want to impose their will on others, at great uncomfort to the others, are the gop base

and leaders. They are all or have all learnt sadism. Though I think some of the GOP base are masochistic and just want to submit to bullies - so they hang with the authoritarians.

8. For whatever reason, it's DEPLORABLE that any adult would be against an anti-bully campaign.

10. No, it's not that exactly...
It's because of the same reason they're against hate crime bills. Because they feel that they and their children should be allowed to beat the sh*t out of as many gay people as they want, without having to worry about getting into any trouble. Who doesn't see that? It's 100% obvious.

11. Perhaps, but I think it is something else
If you get these conservatives in an un-edited moment then they will tell you that they think maybe gay teens just deserve to be bullied because they're lives are just not of the same value as non-gays. Of course, they will never say that publicly, but that is what they believe and off the record that is what they will tell you.

In any case, they never seem to express any sense of outrage over anti-gay bullying at all.

They treat anti-gay bullying as a law enforcement problem when in fact, what it is is terrorism and an act of war*.

*Bonus points for whoever can remember where that bit of rhetoric comes from

12. Yup. It's Rule #1.
Thou shalt bully those who are:
- different in any way
- not narrow minded
- have sympathy for those less fortunate
- homeless
- poor
