Rick Santorum contacted Google, says company spreads 'filth'
A Google search for Santorum has generated some inappropriate results since gay columnist Dan Savage organized an online campaign to link graphic sexual terms to the socially conservative senator’s name.

Now, the Republican presidential candidate says he’s convinced Google could do something to remedy the issue, if the company wanted to.

“I suspect if something was up there like that about Joe Biden, they’d get rid of it,” Santorum said. “If you're a responsible business, you don't let things like that happen in your business that have an impact on the country.”

He continued: “To have a business allow that type of filth to be purveyed through their website or through their system is something that they say they can't handle but I suspect that's not true.”

25. this punk said they would have to add more bedrooms when he's
PRESIDENT because he has seven kids. BWAHAHA! How delusional. And consider, the White House is a national monument. He would deface it just by walking in but he is also prepared to chop it up for his kids. Awesome, he isn't.

9. The fool has no idea what a deterministic algorithm is.

It is because of his own hatefulness that the criteria exists that all points to Santorum.

He has no clue and no amount of explaining will ever get the point across.

IOW he's a dunce.

12. Google can't possibly bend to every complaint like this.
They have to use the same rating algorithms for everything. Otherwise they'll be opening themselves up to lawsuits from everyone they don't do it for.

32. It's his parents' fault for giving him a name that would someday mean
a frothy mixture of feces and anal lube.

He should be yelling at them that they should have foreseen this was in his future and picked a different name for him.
Preferably something that sounds anti-bacterial.

20. Oh...I know what Google could do for Santorum.
Simply return zero results for any search containing his name, along with a message saying that Santorum had asked that searches not produce the kind of all-encompassing results Google gives every search. For a politician, that would be very effective in letting him know what he's asking. I'd like it. Imagine a politician you can't find on Google!

Then, recommend an SEO expert to him.

26. They're REPORTERS. They report what PEOPLE THINK and SAY.
And the truth is that there's a really substantial number of Americans who think Rick Santorum's politics are quite reasonably compared to a frothy mixture of feces and anal lube.

Maybe he's upset about the lube part, and wants to be known for UNlubricated buttrape.

37. I agree. People should stop saying that Santorum means a frothy mixture of feces, semen and lube.
And they should tell all their friends, repeatedly, online, often- please, for the love of God, don't say that Santorum is a word for a frothy mixture of feces, semen and lube.

Maybe they could set up their own websites, devoted to reminding people that "Santorum" should under NO circumstances be mentioned in the same sentence as frothy mixture of feces, semen and lube.
