Today outside Hensarling's office....
Is there a protocol for physically removing people that doesn't apply to people who use wheelchairs? How frequently do they do that with people who are mobile?

2. they're my heroes
thanks for posting.

Here's the info from the description:

Capitol police tried to kick ADAPTers out when ADAPTers tried to send in our demands...

ADAPT demands that the Congressional House Republicans on the Super Committee agree to:

==include a millionaire's tax in the deficit reduction plan to assure that Medicaid beneficiaries do not bear the burden of efforts to address the deficit;

==maintain the integrity of the Medicaid program by assuring that the funding for Medicaid is not capped and increases proportionate to need;

==eliminate Medicaid's institutional bias as a part of the plan to address the deficit; and

==provide ADAPT with an opportunity to testify before the entire Super Committee regarding ADAPT's proposals for real Medicaid reform and eliminating the institutional bias in the plan to address the deficit.

6. Funny thing about ADAPT
and most other disability rights activists is that they come to the table with MONEY SAVING demands. They do their homework!
