1. or, the FOX version, for shits and giggles (FWIW):
Gallup: Obama's Approval at All-Time Low Among Liberals

http://nation.foxnews.com/liberals/2011/09/19/gallup-obamas-approval-all-time-low-among-liberals

President Barack Obama's job approval among liberals tied its all-time low in the Gallup poll last week, according to survey data released today.

In the seven-day period that ended on Sept. 18, only 68 percent of liberals told Gallup they approved of the way Obama was handling his job as president. The president's job approval among liberals had previously dropped to 68 percent in the week that ended on Aug. 28. (However, it then rebounded slightly, rising to 71 percent in the week that ended on Sept. 4, before dropping to 69 percent in the week that ended on Sept. 11.)

As recently as the week that ended May 22, 2011, Obama's approval in the Gallup poll had been at 81 percent among liberals.

P.S. You forgot your OP link again, LoZo

2. I always like these reminders.
I often get addicted to DU threads, and I read about how Obama's a corporatist or whatever, and I worry about his re-election chances.

(This coming from a pragmatic socialist)

3. I believe you, but how come you never post links?
Don't you want to back up your claims with evidence? It'll make your claims stronger.

10. I'm saying if you're gonna start a thread, take a minute to make it worthwhile, without requiring
a google from the reader for context, if they just happen to be curious enough.

More signal, less noise.

13. Nice attitude.
I wonder what would happen here if everybody took the LoZoccolo approach to their OPs and excluded links to what they're referencing.

7. Where is the link? Searches reveal numerous stories of "all time low" approval among liberals. nt
These stories being a sexing up a statistically insignificant 1 point drop from normal 80% approval ratings.

15. 22% dolts? Impossible!

I refuse to believe there are that many idiot "liberal Democrats." Griping is fine, but telling a pollster you disapprove of Obama when you are a liberal Democrat is hard to beat for pure stupidity. Why not just help the media call him an "unpopular president?" We need that. Pollsters should not even ask a question about whether someone considers themselves a liberal Democrat. That automatically opens things up for manipulation by Republicans (who fake it) and, maybe, just maybe a few liberal dummies.

16. hmm....so that's 22% who could still vote for him. That is
Edited on Tue Sep-20-11 09:15 PM by Laura PourMeADrink
why I think his approval numbers are skewed low. The last cnn poll I saw had 16% of those surveyed
saying they disapprove because he is not liberal enough. Many of these people may not vote...but
those that do, will vote Obama
