He really has a great personality and the lead in story to his dancing was, IMO, really well done.

I read earlier today that ABC is now paying for security for him 24 hours a day because of the sheer number of threats against him.

19. I think gleason had more dance training, actually. he did some musical comedy.

nothing against chaz, but i don't think he was as great as the op thinks he was -- and his part of the routine didn't demand much, either. nothing personal, just my opinion of the work.

i've seen some heavy men (& women) who were *fantastic* dancers. their size combined with their skill actually made them more interesting to watch than your typical skinny dancer -- more powerful or something. until i saw a truly skillful "fat" dancer, i'd imagined heavy people would necessarily be clumsy. not so. even in something like ballet, someone shorter & stockier than the typical dancer can be more interesting than the run-of-the-mill gamine.

but i didn't feel that way about chaz -- not that i thought he was bad, either. i just watched him & his partner -- missed nancy grace, lol. i don't watch that show -- the couple of times i caught part of it the dancing didn't move me, & i'm not so interested in celebrities.

But...watching Chaz really is a pleasure and I can see where he has talent. He and Lacey seem to relate to each other very well. Totally enjoyed watching them and I think Chaz will improve greatly over all the shows. He really comes across as a very nice person. Charming as all hell, too.

31. Did you see the documentary on Oprah/OWN?

He wasn't so 'charming' and 'nice' ... very rude to his partner ... it seemed like most of the time he was ordering her around or discounting her ideas/opinions and she was cooking for him.

Must say, he seemed came across as a typical fat lazy loud redneck to me. Maybe the excessive behavior was due to the hormonal changes but wow, if that's an excuse to act like a jerk to the person who's standing by you ... then ... well?
